OSCE MG co-chairs intend to arrange Presidents meeting

The co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, who mediate in the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, intend to arrange the meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian Presidents in the frames of the CIS Summit scheduled for October 17.

Russian co-chair Yuri Merzlyakov told the APA exclusively the foreign ministers should meet directly before the Presidents' meeting.

"I question the meeting of the Presidents without the ministers' meeting and hope we will be able to bring together Elmar Mammadyarov and Vardan Oskanian by October 17. We aim to restore direct contacts as soon as possible," the co-chair underlined.
