PACE co-rapporteurs Tony Lloyd and Andres Herkel to visit Azerbaijan

Head of COE Information Office in Azerbaijan Ilgar Ibrahimli confirmed this report.

The date of the visit is expected to be changed as it has not been coordinated with the Azerbaijani government.

Tony Lloyd has been the Assembly member since 2000. He is the member of nearly ten committees of the Council of Europe. He substitutes Robert Walters in Economic Relations and Development Committee and also deals with the issue on Azerbaijan.

Mr. Lloyd substituted the previous co-rapporteur on Azerbaijan Andreas Gross during PACE summer session.

This will be his first visit to Azerbaijani as the co-rapporteur, APA reports.
