Sergei Mironov: "Russia will support any solution variant achieved by Azerbaijan and Armenia"

"Russia was always against making changes to the borders of the states appeared after the World War II. I think any step to make changes to the borders will lead to bitter results," the Russian Federation Council speaker Sergei Mironov told a briefing in Strasbourg.

As APA reports, Mironov said he supports solving the problems resulting from separatist activity and territorial claims on the basis of international law norms.

Commenting on the process of settling the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Mironov said Russia will support any solution variant achieved by Azerbaijan and Armenia. He noted his country can appear to be the guarantee of any agreement variant.
