CEC adopted 10 regulations for by-elections for municipality

On Saturday Central Election Commission has adopted a number of regulations in connection with by-elections for municipalities to be held on October 6.

CEC secretary Natig Mammadov informed the CEC members of regulations on working group set up by the CEC to certify corroboration of applications and signatures and instructions on political parties and spending of the money given to candidates.
CEC also adopted a instruction on those who have no citizenship.

According to the instruction, foreigners who live in Azerbaijan more than 5 years can attend the elections but they can't stand for elections.

Another instruction on observation of the elections by foreigners and locals was also adopted, APA reports.

According to the instruction, foreign and local observers should apply to CEC by 10 days before the elections. The meeting adopted totally 10 instructions and regulations.
Then composition of some constituency commissions was changed.
