Speaker of Parliament received Head of ALDE

As Trend reports, Ogtay Asadov touched upon the meeting held recently at Milli Mejlis with the European Commission representatives and noted that mutual visits and exchange of views give impetus to development of inter-parliamentary links.

ALDE Head Graham Watson said that they want to know Azerbaijan better, to strengthen ties between Azerbaijan and the European Union.

Replying the questions asked by the guests, the Speaker said, democracy and transparency will be fully ensured at re-elections on May 13. Required measures are taken for holding votes in line with international standards.
