Azerbaijan with NATO assistance works on its military doctrine

Parliament of Azerbaijan is expected to start discussion on the state military doctrine during its spring session in 2006, said Ziyafat Asgarov, the chairman of standing commission on defense and security issues of the Milli Majlis [Parliament].

The commission set up by a decree of President is working along with NATO experts on a draft of the military doctrine to be discussed by the Parliament next year.
