Azeri opposition leaders met with OSCE ODIHR

Christian Shtrokhal, head of the OSCE Office of the Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) met with the leaders of the opposition parties IN Baku office during his visit on February 3, Musavat Press-service told Trend.
Isa Gambar, Musavat chairman, Gulamhussein Alibayli, deputy chairman of the National Front Party (reformers), Akif Shakhbazov, deputy secretary general of ADP, Avaz Temurkhan, head of the Executive Committee of ALP, Araz Alizade, co-chairman of Social-Democratic Party and the representative of Umid Party participated in the meeting.

The conclusion of OSCE Monitoring Group on the court process of the opposition leaders, arrested during 15-16 October 2003 events was discussed in the meeting. The participants also considered the proposal on holding the Free Elections Forum and adjusting the supplements to the Election Code.
