Russian president’s visit to Baku in August considered

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s possible visit to Baku in August to participate in the tripartite meeting with the leaders of Azerbaijan and Iran is being considered, Dmitry Peskov, spokesman for the Russian president, said.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani plans to visit Azerbaijan in August to take part in a trilateral meeting with Azerbaijani and Russian counterparts Ilham Aliyev and Vladimir Putin, Iranian Tasnim news agency reported July 6.

According to the Tasnim agency, the bilateral meetings of the presidents are planned to be held.
