President Ilham Aliyev: “Azerbaijan is an inter-civilization bridge”

Azerbaijan is known as a multiculturalism center in the world. In 2014, I have signed an appropriate Order on creation of the International Multiculturalism Center in Baku. The unique role of Azerbaijan is highly assessed in the world. Azerbaijan is an inter-civilization bridge.

This was stated by President Ilham Aliyev in his congratulatory letter to the Azerbaijani people on the occasion of the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and New Year.

“Azerbaijan is a unique country from the point of view of its geographical, political and all other positions”, the Head of State underlined. “They are interested in our experience. I am convinced, once applied the experience of Azerbaijan in other countries, the inter-religious, inter-ethnic relations in other countries will find their solution on sound basis”.
