
“As part of the Kazakh-Azerbaijani cooperation we exchange reciprocal visits, discuss the issues related to economic ties, interaction and cooperation to solve economic problems,” Vice-Premier of Kazakhstan Krymbek Kusherbayev Told journalists told media in Baku on Wednesday.
Kusherbaev leads the Kazakhstani delegation, which has arrived in Baku for an official two-day visit. The delegation includes government officials and representatives of companies operating in Kazakhstan.
“Kazakhstan is interested in studying Azerbaijan’s experience in areas such as manufacturing, agriculture, innovation and infrastructure. Azerbaijan’s experience is useful for us, because now our countries address difficult and similar tasks to develop the economy amid a global recession. In Baku we will also visit a number of industrial enterprises. Meetings at the Ministries of Economic Development and Agriculture are also expected. We are also planning to hold meetings with the Azerbaijan’s officials. During the meetings we will outline the ways to improve our trade and economic cooperation," said Krymbek Kusherbayev.
According to Kazakhstan’s Vice PM, the export of Kazakhstan’s production is largely related to Azerbaijan, because through Azerbaijan the country transports oil, grain and other commodities. "We have a huge potential for our cooperation during the visit will discuss the ways to deepen it even more," said Krymbek Kusherbayev.
