Heydar Aliyev`s memory commemorated in Kyrgyzstan

Azerbaijan`s Embassy in Kyrgyzstan with support of the Turkish-speaking states Support Foundation and Kyrgyz Turkish Manas University has organized an event to commemorate national leader Heydar Aliyev`s memory.

The event brought together representatives of the Azerbaijani community, members of diplomatic corps accredited in Bishkek, and journalists. The participants saw a documentary featuring national leader Heydar Aliyev`s lifetime and activity.

Addressing the event, rector of the Kyrgyz Turkish Manas University Sabahaddin Balci spoke of national leader`s contributions to the Turkic world.

Chargé d`Affaires of the Embassy Jabbarov spoke of national leader Heydar Aliyev`s activity to protect and strengthen the Azerbaijani statehood. He said the policy of Heydar Aliyev had successfully been continued by President Ilham Aliyev.

Other speakers at the event highlighted accomplishments achieved in Azerbaijan under national leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev.

Then “Heydar Aliyev” gold medal of the Turkish-speaking states Support Foundation was presented to rector of the Kyrgyz Turkish Manas University Sabahaddin Balci. The Foundation also donated books on national leader to the University`s library.
