CIS Council adopts declaration

A declaration on the comprehensive development of the CIS was adopted at the meeting of the Heads of State in expanded format, the chairman of the Executive Committee, the CIS Executive Secretary Sergey Lebedev said, RIA News reported.

"The declaration on the further development of comprehensive cooperation, proposed by Tajikistan, has been considered and adopted. Within this issue, the sides exchanged opinions on the topical problems of the Commonwealth," Lebedev said at the extended meeting of the CIS Council.
