
A conference entitled “Achieving peace around Nagorno-Karabakh: the role of justice in resolving the conflict” has been held in Frankfurt Rhine-Main, Germany.
The conference was supported by the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt (PRIF), and organized by young Azerbaijani scientist, PhD Azer Babayev and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
Azerbaijani MP Rasim Musabayov, Director of the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of Azerbaijan Farhad Mammadov and Director of the Humanitarian Studies Society Avaz Hasanov attended the conference.
The event heard introductory reports of German and Austrian experts on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The Azerbaijani delegation presented the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict from Azerbaijan`s viewpoint.
The conference featured a discussion panel involving the Azeri and German MPs. Chief of the South Caucasus and Central Asia department of Germany` Foreign Ministry Christina Viehl, former German ambassador to Azerbaijan Per Christopher Stanchina, Deputy Dean of History Faculty at Moscow State University Alexei Vlasov, and Azer Babayev made speeches at the event.
