Afghanistan seeks to boost ties with Azerbaijan

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has received newly appointed Afghan Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohammad Shakir Kargar today, the Azerbaijani foreign ministry said.

Afghan Ambassador has delivered the copies of his credentials to Mammadyarov and expressed satisfaction with his appointment to Azerbaijan.
He said that he was impressed by Azerbaijan's development.

Mohammad Shakir Kargar said that he will make every effort to further enhance the relations between the two countries over the period of his activity in Azerbaijan.

Elmar Mammadyarov stressed the importance of further developing and strengthening the relations between the two countries and congratulated the ambassador on his new appointment and wished him success in his diplomatic career.
