President Ilham Aliyev visits Saatli, Beylagan and Imishli regions - UPDATE - PHOTOS

President Ilham Aliyev has attended a ceremony to commission a new Imishli city water stock complex.

The Head of State viewed stands reflecting a main plan of the facility. Chairman of Azersu company Gorkhmaz Huseynov informed the President about the technical indicators of the complex.

President Ilham Aliyev launched the facility by pressing a start button. The Azerbaijani leader then met local residents.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has inaugurated a Kraun KO granary in Imishli.

Minister of Economic Development Shahin Mustafayev informed the Head of State that the Kraun KO granary was built in the Shahverdili village of Imishli District in accordance with state programs on the socioeconomic development of districts. The granary is fitted with the latest equipment. The total cost of the complex is 7.3 million manats. The project has been implemented also using soft loans of the state. The National Fund on Entrepreneurship Support of the Ministry of Economic Development provided a soft loan of 4 million manats for the construction which began in April 2011 and ended in October 2012.

While reviewing the granary, the President was informed that the enterprise was built using the technology of the Turkish company OBI. The 50,000-ton granary has six silo with a capacity of 8,300 tons each. The complex is equipped with cleaning, drying and ventilation systems. The grain delivered here is first weighed, then sent to an open-closed compressor and then into the first storage facility through screws. After cleaning, the grain is disinfected and transported into a second storage facility. To clean and wash the grain, a water tank has been installed. The application of modern technologies will enable prolonged and loss-free storage of bakery products. The enterprise has a separate railway line. In order to supply itself with raw materials, the company is engaged in sowing on an area of 43,500 hectares. To do that, modern machinery and equipment have been purchased. The area adjacent to the granary has been landscaped and trees planted.

President Ilham Aliyev launched the enterprise.

It was noted that the company’s office building has all the conditions for productive work of employees. By giving an impetus to grain production in the country, the project will provide the population with high-quality wheat throughout the year. The construction of the complex will enhance agricultural production and creation of new jobs. Currently, the company employs 50 people.

The President praised the work done here.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of “Araz” poultry factory as part of his visit to Imishli district.

The factory was established under the State Program on Socio-Economic Development of Regions.

The total cost of the facility, which covers 24 hectares, is 7.3 million manats.
The President was informed that the reconstruction of the facility started in 2010 and ended in October, 2012.

The factory houses seven poultry farms, which are provided with equipment of Turkish Altuntas company. The facility created 220 jobs.

The Head of State cut a ribbon symbolizing the opening of the facility.

The President was informed the construction of the Center’s two-storey building started in may, 2012. The facility covers a total area of 2.000 square meters.
Photo stands reflecting national leader Heydar Aliyev`s and President Ilham Aliyev`s visits to regions and the construction work carried out there were installed in the foyer of the Center.

The Center also includes a 3D cinema club, an E-library, an Internet cafe, a language laboratory, a photo studio, an exhibition hall, chess, intellectual games and virtual rooms.

There are also 350-seat and 50-seat conference halls in the Center.
President Ilham Aliyev inspected redevelopment work in the Heydar Aliyev Park.
The President also viewed the newly-built Flag Square in Imishli district. The Square covers an area of 8,300 square meters. The flag flies on a pole 100 meters in height.

The Azerbaijani leader cut a ribbon symbolizing the opening of the school. The Head of State was informed about the redevelopment work in the yard of the facility which has green strips, a modern lighting system and benches.

The Head of State started his trip by visiting a monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev in the center of the town.

Head of the Imishli Executive Authority Vilyam Haciyev informed the Azerbaijani leader about the redevelopment work around the monument.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for the complex of water and sewerage systems of Beylagan.

The Head of State was informed about the complex. The President was told that the project on water supply of Beylagan and reconstruction of sewerage systems was being realized with financial support of the Asia Development Bank. As part of the project, the water and sewerage network of the center of Beylagan would completely be reconstructed. The project envisages improvement of water supply of the town of Beylagan and its two villages.

The implementation of the project on reconstruction of water supply and sewerage systems will be completed in 18 months.

President Ilham Aliyev laid the foundation stone for the complex.  The Head of State wished successes to builders.

The Head of State cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the Center.
The President was told that the Center includes photos, historical documents reflecting different stages of lifetime and activity of the national leader, his meetings in foreign countries and regions of the country.

The Center has a conference-hall, language laboratory, photo studio, library, carpet-weaving, drawing circles. The Center also includes library, Internet café, language laboratory, photo studio, exhibition hall and virtual rooms.

President Ilham Aliyev familiarized himself with conditions created in the Heydar Aliyev Center.

Then a conference took place at the Heydar Aliyev Center`s hall with participation of President Ilham Aliyev. The Head of State delivered speech at the conference.

As part of his visit to Beylagan, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has participated in the opening of reconstructed Cultural Palace. The Head of State viewed photo stands reflecting the previous and current look of the Palace.

Photo stands, featuring care and attention of national leader and President Ilham Aliyev to development of culture in Azerbaijan, were launched in the foyer of the Cultural Palace. The reconstruction work here started in April this year.

President Ilham Aliyev also became familiar with the hall of the Palace. The Head of State was told favorable conditions had been created here to hold cultural events.

The Head of State visited the monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev in the center of the city.

The Head of State viewed photo stands reflecting the previous and current look of the bridge.

Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov informed President Ilham Aliyev about highways which will be built in 2013.

President Ilham Aliyev was briefed on the technical indicators of the bridge over Araz River.

The 238.8 meter-long bridge was reconstructed by Azerkorpu Company.

The Head of State also was informed about the construction work on a bridge of Hajigabul-Horadiz highway over Kur River.

The length of the bridge will be 317.7 meters and width will be 14.8 meters.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev yesterday inspected the Saatli Central Hospital after major overhaul.

Health Minister Ogtay Shiraliyev informed the Head of State about the reconstruction work. The hospital consists of three blocks.

The President was told about the work to landscape the yard of the facility. The hospital was provided with new equipment.

The Saatli Central Hospital has polyclinic, surgery, maternity, pediatric, reanimation, gynecology, first aid departments and labs.

The facility has 183-strong staff, including 58 doctors. Then, President Ilham Aliyev met with the hospital staff and local residents.

Doctor of the hospital Adelina Alakbarova thanked the Head of State for his care and attention.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev yesterday arrived in the country`s Saatli district.  The Head of State started his trip by visiting a monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev in the center of the city.

Head of the Saatli Executive Authority Siragaddin Jabbarov informed the Azerbaijani leader about the redevelopment work in the Heydar Aliyev park here.

He said the park covered a total area of 5.6 hectares. The facility has new green strips and fountains.
