The article says:” Pakistan has cordial relations with Azerbaijan. President Ilham Aliyev has said his government always supported Pakistan`s stand on Kashmir issue, on the other hand Pakistan has taken a principal stand on the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh. Foreign Relations Committee of the Senate of Pakistan has adopted a resolution on 1 February, 2012 which condemned the occupation of Azerbaijani territories and the genocide committed by Armenian armed forces in Khojali. Pakistan`s policy is in line with public opinion and the overall approach of the Muslim World.”
“The United Nations has issued many resolutions, both from the General Assembly and the Security Council, dealing with conflict. These resolutions have maintained that Armenia need to observe the norms of international law. They have also supported Azerbaijan`s position on the right to selfdetermination; and they have refused to acknowledge the results of elections held in the self-proclaimed `Nagorno Karabakh Republic.”
Another article written by Sabah Aslam, who works for the Institute of Strategic Studies in Islamabad is called “Mehriban Aliyeva: An Icon of Education,Peace, and Development”.
The article says: “Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva is the First Lady of Azerbaijan. Mehriban Aliyeva – a woman, a mother, a doctor, and a leader with pragmatic abilities to bring positive change in the society. As a president of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, and a member of parliament and of course being the first lady of Republic of Azerbaijan, she makes enormous contributions to the social, cultural, and political life of the country. In addition, she also deals to serve the humanity to live in people`s hearts, and she does it not because it is a necessity or because she is a spouse of the President of Azerbaijan, but she does it from the bottom of her heart. First Lady of Azerbaijan is not less than a role model for entire Muslim and non-Muslim women around the world.
In order to carry out the great legacy of her great father in law, Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva, is currently heading the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The foundation aims to share the true ideas of nationalism and statehood shaped by Mr. Heydar Aliyev to new generations. Foundation headed by Mrs. Aliyeva, didn`t only built schools in Azerbaijan but also the program has an outreach beyond borders. For that matter the school in Muzaffarabad is an excellent example of the support to the hard hit earthquake region of Kashmir. One can remember golden words by Mother Teresa about serving humanity i.e. “Good works are links that forma chain of love”, cannot be ignored whilst writing about an icon of humanity i.e. Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva (the first lady of Azerbaijan).
An article titled “Strategic Significance of Energy Rich Caspian Sea Region” by Irtaza Abbas, who works as Assignment Editor in Current Affairs in Pakistan`sTelevision Corporation covers rich resourses of ther Caspian Sea.

The publication concludes with address by Dashkin Shikarov, ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on the occasion of 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan.
The address says: “It is matter of great privilege for me to address People of Pakistan through the pages of the “Diplomatic Insight” magazine on the occasion of 20th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan. Relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan which started just 20 years ago have grown up to the level of strategic partnership. Exchange of visits of Azerbaijan and Pakistan Leaders and the other high level delegations played a pivotal role in cementing the links between our States and Nations. I can`t help saying about the principal stand of Pakistan on Armenian-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict which is a source of constant pain for each citizen of my country. Pakistan unequivocally supports us on this very issue and this year the Senate of Pakistan adopted a resolution condemning a genocide against Azerbaijanis in the town of Khojali and once again backed territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan. This move was highly appreciated by leadership and people of Azerbaijan both and become a invaluable moral support for us. I would like to congratulate all people of Pakistan and Azerbaijan on this auspicious occasion and wish the relations between our nations to be everlasting! Long live Azerbaijan-Pakistan Friendship! Azerbaijan-Pakistan dosti zindabad!”
