Volume of financial aid for political parties made public

Political parties will receive financial assistance for the first time in Azerbaijan. APA reports that this is indicated in the draft state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2013. AZN 2 mln has been allocated for the parties.

According to the official information, the funds will be distributed among 11 political parties having seats in the parliament, since other political parties failed to overcome 3% barrier. The distribution will be based on the number of the parliamentarians from the parties.
