Uzbek President ends official visit to Azerbaijan - UPDATE

 President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov has today completed his official visit to Azerbaijan.

A guard of honor was lined up for the President at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport decorated with state flags of the two countries.

President Islam Karimov was seen off by First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Yagub Eyyubov and other officials.

 President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov has today visited the Alley of Honors to lay a wreath at the tomb of Azerbaijan`s national leader, founder and architect of modern Azerbaijani state Heydar Aliyev.

The President also put flowers at the grave of prominent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva.

President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov has today arrived in Baku for an official visit.

A guard of honor was lined up for the Uzbek leader at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport decorated with the national flags of the two countries.

President Islam Karimov was welcomed by Azerbaijan`s First Deputy Prime Minister Yagub Eyyubov and other officials. The President of Uzbekistan and Mr. Yagubov had a brief talk at the airport`s VIP lounge.
