TurkPA head to attend FMs meeting in Astana

TurkPA Secretary General Ramil Hasanov will attend a meeting of foreign ministers of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), which will be held in Astana on September 12.

It is planned that TurkPA Secretary General will participate as an observer.

Hasanov is expected to meet with Kazakh Foreign Minister Yerzhan Kazihanovym, and address the meeting.

Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) is an international forum for strengthening cooperation to ensure peace, security and stability in Asia.

CICA member states are Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Egypt, India, Iran, Israel, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Palestine, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkey and Uzbekistan.

Observer states are Australia, China, Indonesia, Republic of Korea, Lebanon, Malaysia, Ukraine, USA, and Japan.

UN, OSCE, the Arab League, the Central Asian Economic Community (CAEC) participate in CICA.
