
Being at home is a wonderful feeling, Azerbaijani officer Ramil Safarov told journalists in Baku. "I'm happy to be back with the Azerbaijani people," he said.
"I feel like newly born. I never lost hope of returning to my home country, and believed that the time will come when Supreme Commander-in-Chief solves this issue," Safarov said.
He said this time has come.
Safarov noted that he hasn't made yet concrete decision on his future activities, and did not exclude the continuation of military service, Trend reports.
Azerbaijani officer Ramil Safarov, who was convicted in Hungary, returned on Friday to Azerbaijan. Today, under the order of the head of state, he was pardoned.
