
A workshop aimed at strengthening cooperation will be held between Azerbaijani and Georgian border guards on August 30-31.
The meeting will be held within the project 'Support for border management, integrated in the South Caucasus'. It will involve members of the Georgian Border and Patrol Police, Latvian experts from the International Centre for Migration Policy Development and authorised representatives of the Azerbaijani State Border Service, the relevant bodies told Trend today.
The preparation of legal rules for the Coordinating Institute for Bilateral Cooperation in the area of border management and the determination of the strategic priorities for effective cooperation in this field will be discussed at the meeting.
