Azerbaijani President holds series of meetings - UPDATE - PHOTOS

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Friday outgoing Indian ambassador Debnat Show.

The President said good prospects exist to develop bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and India. The Head of State thanked the ambassador for his contribution to expansion of relations between the two countries.

Debnat Show, in turn, said he was happy to work in such a beautiful country as Azerbaijan and among such nice people. The Indian diplomat said relations between the two countries developed during his tenure.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received a Sudanese delegation led by minister of foreign affairs Ali Ahmed Karti.

The minister delivered greetings of Sudanese President Omar Hassan Ahmad Al-Bashir to the Azerbaijani leader. He also handed over Omar Hassan Ahmad Al-Bashir`s letter to President Ilham Aliyev.

Ali Ahmed Karti said the ongoing rapid economic development in Azerbaijan under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev made a deep impression on him. The minister thanked Azerbaijan as the country supports Sudan in international organizations.

President Ilham Aliyev stressed the importance of the fact that Azerbaijan and Sudan consistently back each other within international organizations. The Head of State expressed confidence that this cooperation would further continue.

President Ilham Aliyev expressed hope that Ali Ahmed Karti`s visit to Azerbaijan would contribute to expansion of bilateral relations between the two countries. The Azerbaijani President asked Ali Ahmed Karti to extend his greetings to theSudanese President.
