Turkish mosques to commemorate Khojaly genocide victims

Visiting Turkey, Azerbaijani deputy of the Milli Majlis Jeyhun Osmanli met with the country`s Minister for Religious Affairs Mehmet Gormez to lift the question of commemoration of victims of Khojaly massacre in the Turkish mosques` khutbahs (serves as the primary formal occasion for public preaching in the Islamic tradition).

Azeri parliamentarian also offered to give information on Armenian barbarism against Azerbaijanis, especially Khojaly genocide in the mosques. The sides also discussed the cooperation in different fields between Azerbaijan and Turkey and shared views on events dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Khojaly tragedy.
