French Senate’s decision no to affect Turkey

The French Senate’s decision on the Armenian genocide will affect neither Turkey nor Azerbaijan, Political analyst Zardusht Alizade said, when commenting on Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian’s appeal to other countries to follow France's example.

This issue it not worth paying attention. France’s bill would only affect the elections in France, the decision will not bring any changes in regard of Turkey and Turkish people, he believes.
 
"The Armenian elite and the ruling circles present this as their merits, but in fact this absolutely contradicts the reality. I think that some states simply speculate on the ‘Armenian genocide’ issue with a view to have are not able to give something to their people and ensure people’s needs. They must somehow please the people and this is the way they found to please,” he noted.
