Turkey to open defense industry office in Azerbaijan

Turkey’s Defense Industry Secretariat confirmed the opening of its Caucasian bureau in Baku.  The opening ceremony will take place this year, but the date has not been scheduled yet. Certain procedures are underway. Turkey’s top officials are expected to attend the opening ceremony.

The Defense Industry Secretariat’s Office will introduce the products of the Turkish companies in the Caucasus and Central Asia and establish relations. The Secretariat said it would open offices in Baku, Brussels (NATO) and Jakarta (Indonesia).

Turkey has already opened the regional defense industry offices in Washington DC (USA) and Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).
