Public Chamber failed

Azerbaijan National Independence Party (ANIP) Chairman Ayaz Rustamov said the Azerbaijani opposition camp’s statements about their unification give not a single result.  

He doubted that the efforts of the Public Chamber, "Troika" political organization and "Karabakh" block to unite the forces will be effective. “The opposition desires and seeks unity only in statements,” he said, adding that elections to the Public Chamber will not lead to major changes in the activity of this structure.
 
"I do not believe the elections can significantly influence developments in the structure. Most likely, this is a tactical move. However, I note that no steps dictated by the strategic point of view. If opposition wants to take an affective step, then it should  has common view at least in matters relating to national interests, concerns of the nation and state. "
