Green puppy born in Brazil

According to a local San Paulo newspaper Globo, a Labrador puppy with green hair was born. Little miracle was born in late November, in the town of Mairinque (65 km from San Paulo). The puppy was named Hulk, not surprisingly after a popular green comik book superhero.

Veterinarians have explained the phenomenon is because the pup's mother was exposed during pregnancy to a substance called biliverdin, which can be found in the placenta. Ten days after birth, Hulk lost the pigment and is now just as white as his siblings.
