Swedish woman's leg trapped in grave

The incident happened at the graveyard in southern Sweden yesterday evening, The Local reports.

As she bent over to leave flowers by the grave, her leg began to sink into the soil, which was soft after heavy rain in the area.

Luckily there were others present at the time and the alarm was quickly raised. Emergency services were called and freed her from the grave.

The shocked female did not require hospital treatment.

The church pastor Jonas Kristiansson said: "I have been working here for eleven years and I have never seen anything like this."
