Supermodel Miranda Kerr has come to the rescue of the Australian stock broker who was caught looking at racy pictures of her on his computer at work.
David Kiely, an employer of Macquarie Group, became a YouTube sensation when footage was posted on the site of him looking at nude pictures of Kerr while a news broadcast was being filmed in his office.
Miranda, who is currently in her native Australia said she would sign a petition to keep Kiely in his job.
"I am told there is a petition to save his job and of course I would sign it," said Miranda.
Soon after she made her feelings known, an internal review at Macquarie ruled that Mr Kiely could keep his job.
"He will remain an employee of Macquarie," the statement, quoted by the Sydney Daily Telegraph, said. "Macquarie and the employee apologise for any offence that may have been caused."
