Russian leader congratulates “Buranovskie babushki” on Eurovision 2012 performance

Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated the members of “Buranovskie babushki” group on taking the second place at the Eurovision 2012 Song Contest.

President Putin stressed the great talent of the group members, APA reports. He said performing the song in several languages, including Udmurt, was a good example of popularization of Russian multinational culture.
