Azerbaijani film to run for Oscars

Reportedly, Azerbaijani Oscars Committee decided to put Azerbaijani "The Precinct" film up for the Oscars, in the "Best foreign film" category. The movie was written and directed by Ilgar Safat. The story focuses around a well-known photographer, who travels back into his childhood. The film was shot by Azerbaijan and Georgia, with a financial support from Azerbaijan's Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Reportedly, the film will be presented this Autumn.
