Corey Feldman: 'Child stars deserve better'

12 March 2010 [08:43] - TODAY.AZ
Corey Feldman has called for better treatment of child actors in the wake of Corey Haim's death yesterday.

The actor told Larry King that Hollywood needs to change the way it deals with stars who are thrust into the spotlight at an early age.

"Where were all these people the last ten years, the last 15 years of Corey's life?" Feldman asked of the many celebrities who have come forward to express their grief.

He then revealed that Haim was living in a month-to-month apartment with his mother and "nothing to his name".

The Lost Boys star expressed the need to fix that child actors are put on a pedestal so young but are made fun of as soon as they're no longer marketable.
