"Uzbekistan through eyes of Azerbaijani children" opens in Tashkent

An exhibition called "Uzbekistan through the eyes of Azerbaijani children" has been opened at the Azerbaijan Cultural Center after Heydar Aliyev at the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Uzbekistan, Azertac reported.

The exhibition was co-organized by the embassy of Azerbaijan in Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan Cultural Center at the Embassy of Azerbaijan, State Fine Arts Gallery, Azerbaijani "Regional Youth Development Contribution" PU and Uzbek "MUMTOZ" Public Union.

Uzbekistan's culture, historical monuments, customs and traditions are reflected in the drawings of Azerbaijani children. It's surprising how children feel the art, its all the beauty.

The marvelous exhibition featured Azerbaijani rugs, national musical instruments and  Kelaghayi, traditional head cover of Azerbaijani women.

Director of Azerbaijan Cultural Center Samir Abbasov said the main purpose of the exhibition improve relations between the two countries and exchange of experience.

Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan share historical, cultural, linguistic and religious roots, and are dynamically developing their political, economic and cultural relations.

The diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan were established in October 1995. The two countries have signed over 100 bilateral documents.
