Azerbaijani artists' works mesmerizes Paris

An exhibition of Azerbaijani artists has opened in the famous “Russian world” gallery, located in the 8th district of Paris.

Generally, 35 oil paintings of the talented and well-known Azerbaijani artist Asmar Narimanbayova, Huseyn Haqverdi, Ismayil Mammadov, as well as Knyaz Shukurov, Mirza Yusif, Tavakkul Abbasov and Anar Huseynzade, were presented at the exhibition.

The works of Azerbaijani artists aroused great interest among the art lovers. The event was attended by the Russian ambassador to France, Paul Golunski from the Harvard University, as well as famous artists, cultural and art figures.

Participants of the exhibition, which will run until May 30 received detailed information about Azerbaijani history and culture.

The works of famous artists from different countries are regularly exhibited in this gallery. Earlier in April, some 50 work of Asmar Narimanbayova were also featured at the exhibition in the “Russian world” gallery.

Narimanbekova - who is an associate professor at the Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Arts, and a member of the presidium of the Azerbaijan Union of Artists is also the daughter of famous painter, Togrul Narimanbekov and talented sculptor artist, Elmira Guseynova, who was the winner of a State Prize of the USSR and Azerbaijan, and the People's Artist of USSR.

Narimanbayova’s work are stunning with a riot of colors, and interesting imagination of the world. They are distinguished by a particular expression.

Her works have been exhibited in many countries around the world. The creativity of the national artist has been appreciated by art professionals, and many connoisseurs and art lovers.

Her works are featured in many prestigious galleries in France, Russia, New York, Ankara, Peking, Berlin and London.

In 2013, France opened an exhibition titled “Baku, on the Silk Road" at Corrado Bortone art gallery in Paris. Her worksin the cubism visual art style and her paintings’ originality have attracted many visitors.
