Azerbaijani Culture in due Moldova

Days of Azerbaijani Culture will be held in Moldova on November 11 – 15. According to the Azerbaijani Embassy in Moldova, the Azerbaijani delegation led by Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Adalat Veliyev will arrive in Moldova to take part in the Days.

The delegation includes the rector of Baku National Conservatory Siyavush Karimi, senior representatives of the Union of Artists, State Film Fund, jazz band of Afghan Rasulov, Ruslan Huseynov and Elvin Bashirov, actors of the Azerbaijan State Russian Drama Theater, TV journalists and others.

As part of the Days the Azerbaijan State Russian Drama Theater will perform "Monsieur Jordan and Dervish Mastali Shah". Also Moldova’s capital Chisinau will host a concert of Azerbaijani jazz band and a photo exhibition and tourism exhibition titled "Azerbaijan at the crossroads of tradition and modernity."

The Odeon cinema club will feature full-length Azerbaijani feature films - "The Hostage", “Inhabitant of steppe" and "Where is a lawyer?”. The Days also include presentation of a miniature book "Aphorisms of Nizami" and opening of the park to mark the 870th birthday of a great Azerbaijani poet and philosopher Nizami Ganjavi. The Moldavians will also have the opportunity to taste Azerbaijan national cuisine at "Prisoner of the Caucasus” restaurant.
