Germany`s Signum Saxophone quartet gave a concert as part of the 4th international Uzeyir Hajibayli Music Festival organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
The quartet performed music pieces by Alexander Glazunov, Samuel Barber, Béla Bartók and Fabien Levin.
The quartet was formed in 2006. The young ensemble has gone a remarkable way in the international concert business with its concerts, e.g. at the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the Classic-Young-Stars–International Festival in Berlin, in the Beethovenhaus Bonn and the first prize at the Torneo Internazionale di Musica in Verona (Italy) 2010 in the category of chamber music give good proof of this assertion.
