Arts Academy after Azerbaijani painter to operate in Turkey

The Academy of Arts after Azerbaijani painter Sakit Mammadov will be launched in Turkey.

According to Sakit Mammadov, he was very glad to get such a proposal from Turkey, but added he didn`t want to become the rector of the academy.

Sakit Mammadov is the founder of Opalism, a new trend in painting. The painter`s exhibitions will open in Turkey and London this year.

His exhibitions have been held in Moscow, Baku, St. Petersburg, Minsk, Turkey, Austria, Poland, Sweden, Ukraine, Germany, Tatarstan, Egypt, Australia, France, Italy, Singapore, and Belgium.

Mammadov`s works are kept in museums in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Baku, Turkey, and Vatican. He is Member of the International Association of Art, UNESCO.
