Cinemas in Azerbaijan’s regions will be upgraded

The Azerbaijani regions will get back its cinemas. The Regional TV channel reported that the Nizami cinema in Guba was commissioned in 1951. However, today the cinema building become useless.

Regional Culture and Tourism Department head  Elkhan Maharramov said the cinema leadership appealed to the Culture and Tourism Ministry in connection with the renovation of the cinema.
 
In early March, Deputy Culture and Tourism Minister Adalat Valiyev said that about 120 theaters and similar objects in the country’s regions will be repaired and put into operation up to September this year. Today serious measures are taken in this area, he said.
