Turkish Cultural Foundation to be established

The Turkish Cultural Foundation will be established shortly, Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States, Halil Akinci said at the meeting with secretary general of TURKSOY Dusen Kaseinov in Ankara.

According to H. Akinci the foundation aims to provide financial support to cultural projects of TURKSOY. H.Akinci also underlined that the foundation will be an important step in the direction of multilateral cooperation of Turkic-speaking countries.

The meeting emphasized the necessity of the development of relations in the cultural sphere. In the same vein, one of the most important steps would be the creation of the common alphabet.
