Kulevi oil terminal receives over 3mln tons of oil cargo

SOCAR's Kulevi oil terminal received about 3.14 million tons of oil and oil products in January-November, about 3.11 million tons of which was shipped, SOCAR said on Friday. In November, the terminal received 212,000 tons of oil and oil products and shipped 264,100 tons.

According to the forecasts, the volume of transshipment will hit 3.5-3.6 million tons as of 2011. The terminal transported 3.6 million tons of oil-loading cargo in 2010 or 56 percent more than in 2009. The terminal was put into operation in summer 2008. Its total capacity is 10 million tons of oil per year, including 3 million tons of oil, 3 million tons of diesel fuel, and 4 million tons of fuel oil.
