Azerbaijan to continue its economic growth in future

Azerbaijan will continue its economic growth in the future, vice president for development of IE Business School Gonzalo Garland said.

"Azerbaijan has passed a great way, so now it is one of the fastest growing countries in the world. Transformation of the country is quiet remarkable. And there are reasons to expect that Azerbaijan will continue its growth in the future," he said.

However, maybe there will be negative effect caused by situation in Europe, or oil prices. According to Garland, Azerbaijan has a lot of degrees of freedom and recourses, which could be used in order to reduce the effects of any negative situation in Europe.

"Such country as Azerbaijan should also work on diversifying its economy and, as I know, the government is working on it," he said. "Azerbaijan has a huge potential to be developed in the future. Delegations of IE Business School have been coming here for some years. And we want to continue our commitment to the country and region and try to attract the beast candidates to our school."
