Azerbaijan –Israel ICT forum runs in Baku

The Azerbaijani and Israeli officials and representatives of ICT companies attended the forum opened in Baku today. Azerbaijani Communication and IT Minister Ali Abbasov noted that, Azerbaijan and Israel had close economic relations, as well cooperation in ICT sphere.

In turn, Israeli Telecommunication Minister Moshe Kahlon noted that Azerbaijan’s future plans in the ICT sphere would support the general development of the country. “Azerbaijan locates in the interesting area from the standpoint of geography. Israel is interested in application of ICT in Azerbaijan’s mountainous areas”.
