Japan, Azerbaijan to sign grant agreement on new project

Japan and Azerbaijan will sign a grant agreement on project of “Construction of water supply system in Alismayilli village of Gedebey region” on November 3.

The Japanese embassy in Azerbaijan said that the agreement is realized within the “Grant Assistance for Grassroots and Human Security Program” of the Japanese government. The agreement will be signed by the representatives of Japanese embassy and the “Assistance and Development Association” International Humanitarian Public Union.

The main purpose of the project is to cover the need of population of 1500 persons for drinking water by reconstruction of water supply system in Alismayilli village of Gedebey region. Japanese government allocated USD 99 606 for the project.
