IAEA representative arrives in Baku

Representative of the International Atomic Energy Agency for Azerbaijan Andrei Chupov arrived in Baku on October 23, director of the Radiation Institute of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) Adil Garibov said. The visit will last until October 27.

Chupov will discuss the joint projects of technical cooperation. He will hold meetings at the National Cancer Care Center, State Committee on Standardization, Meteorology and Patent, ANAS Institute Radiation Problems, Ministry of Emergency Situations, State Agency for Regulation of Nuclear and Radiological Activity and Special Facility “Isotope”. Chupov will also visit the area allocated for the installation of sterilization facility.
