Japanese government allocated $11-million grant for 147 projects in Azerbaijan

“The government of Japan has supported the education projects in Azerbaijan for more than ten years.

Despite the tsunami tragedy in Japan, the government still continues funding grant projects in Azerbaijan”, Minister of Education of Azerbaijan Misir Mardanov said during the event at the ministry.

He said the government of Japan has allocated totally $11-million grant to Azerbaijan so far. “These resources were spent for the construction and repair of 50 secondary schools”, the minister said.
