200 more new taxi cars brought to Azerbaijan’s capital

200 more new taxi cars have been brought to the capital by Baku Taxi Company, established by Azerbaijan’s Transport Ministry, head of Ministry’s Secretariat Namig Hasanov said.

To him, the number of taxi cars reached 300: “This number may hit 1000 till the end of year”.

Note that, new taxi cars are purchased from Great Britain’s «Manganese Bronze» company. The taxi cars are produced at Chinese «Geely Automobile Holding». For this purpose Azerbaijani government will pay 16 mln pound sterling($26.1 mln).

The improvement program of taxi services is implemented within framework of the cooperation with British «TX4 London Taxis».
