Azerbaijan rose in “Global Competitiveness Index” rating by two steps

Azerbaijan took the 55 place in the table of “Global Competitiveness Index” for 2011-2012 developed within framework of Davos Economic Forum, “Global Competitiveness Index” stated in its report.

In comparison to last year, Azerbaijan rose two stages up in the rankings.

The list includes 142 countries. The first place has taken by Switzerland, Armenia - 92. Azerbaijan has left behind such countries as Turkey, Russia, Latvia, Slovakia, Kazakhstan, etc.

Note that, the “Global competitiveness index” defines economic competitiveness of different countries.
