Azerbaijan’s four TV and radio companies prolonged license

The National TV and radio Council of Azerbaijan held its next meeting on Friday.

The Council reviewed the applications of the Azerbaijan State Broadcasting Company, Burc FM Ltd, Kepez Independent Broadcasting Company and DIGICOM cable network for extension of their licenses for broadcasting, the Council informed.

In accordance with the requirements described in article 22.3 of the broadcasting law, the National TV and Radio Council passed decision to prolong license of the Azerbaijan State Broadcasting Company, Burc FM Ltd, Kepez Independent Broadcasting Company and DIGICOM cable network for six years.
