Azerbaijan presents Code of Ethics

The Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry has prepared a Code of Ethics within activities to support the development of entrepreneurship in the country, the ministry said.

Code posted on the ministry’s official website, serves to improving corporate governance in commercial organizations, as well as qualitative improvement of organizations’ activity.

It reflects the long and short term issues, global values, the relationship between the companions, the rules of conduct of employees within the company. While preparing the document the experience of the country’s largest companies was studied and benefits of application of the code at the enterprise were explored.

World experience shows that application of the Code of Corporate Ethics, which is advisory in nature, allows the company to gain high confidence, to have high competitiveness and productivity, increase investment and attract foreign investments, as well as provides recognition of the company at international level.
