Ministry of Economic Development holds board meeting

Wide board meeting was held at Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Economic Development on fulfillment of tasks given by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev at the meeting devoted to outcomes of socio-economic development of I half-year of 2011.

Ministry said that at the meeting attended by ministry’s structure sections, by participation of subsidiary bodies, Economic Development Minister Shahin Mustafayev said the head of state gave concrete tasks on maintenance of macroeconomic stability, complete fulfillment of budget expenses, maintenance of inflation at simple level, implementation of important projects directed to increasing of Azerbaijan’s transit potential, quickening of industrialization, increasing state support for entrepreneurship development, total providence of food safety, meeting demands for community facilities and etc.

Mustafayev has given tasks on continuation of protection of macroeconomic stability, conduction of analyses and drafting of proposals in emergency cases for this purpose, establishment of large grain-grower plants, strengthening of state financial support to development of entrepreneurship in Baku and its settlements.

Certain tasks were given to the relevant structures of Ministry about increase of utilization opportunities of local products, organization of events for stimulation of local production.

Decision on preparation of Actins Plan was adopted at the Board Meeting.
